About Foosti

Foosti, currently a small and ambitious team, is a new subsidiary of StarHub, the second largest telecommunications service provider based in Singapore. Foosti is pioneering the Toll-Free Content Model, a global first, where M1 and StarHub mobile subscribers in Singapore can access Mobile Internet content and services completely free of charge.

We are looking for people who want to make a difference developing innovative next generation advertising and communications solutions for a global audience using Web and Mobile 2.0 technologies.

The selected candidate will have the opportunity to be a key player in the online web & mobile services field, working in a start-up culture yet backed by a major telecommunications company.

The entire internship experience will:
1) Provide the selected candidate with dynamic opportunities to challenge his capabilities in web development and;
2) Allow ample room for creative juices to flow for high-quality web designing

Web Developer/Designer Intern

Responsibilities

• We are looking for someone with experience in developing websites, rich web applications (AJAX based), great Flash animations and Flash applications to build the next generation of Rich internet applications and online solutions using Web 2.0/Mobile 2.0 technologies.
• Develop Rich Internet Applications using FLEX framework
• Develop web/mobile (WAP/XHTML/Flash/flash lite) applications (CMS, AJAX RIA’s, webapps etc)
• Create and deliver graphics and other visual assets to developers
• Create and manage the web/xhtml/wap sites

Requirements

• Currently a degree student in Information Technology, Computer Science / Engineering, or related fields
• Experience in web development and graphics design
• Experience in AJAX / HTML / DHTML / XML / CSS WAP/WML/XHTML/WAP development
• Experience with adobe photoshop/macromedia dreamweaver is essential
• Ability to develop Flash applications using Flex/ActionScript 3 is essential
• Ability to create Flash/Flash lite animations and applications.
• Experience in CMS development (drupal) will be an advantage
• Familiarity with LAMP environment is an advantage
• Hardworking and responsible with strong interpersonal skills
