Job description overview:

The person will be responsible for the conception, design and execution of online materials for integrated campaigns including websites, web-based initiatives, social media campaigns, online advertising and digital marketing. We require someone with a solid technical understanding of Flash, HTML and CSS, a creative flair to conceive unique online ideas and execute beautiful work, and a passion for social media. Candidates must be energetic, passionate, keen to learn independently, and have at least 1 to 2 years of experience.

Requirements:

– Solid understanding of Flash, HTML and CSS
– Ability to build Flash-based website
– Ability to hand-code HTML and CSS
– Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite software, including Illustrator, Photoshop, Dreamweaver and Flash
– Experience working with programmers on web-based projects
– Understanding and passion for social media
– Ability to think through usability issues and develop user-friendly interfaces
– Excellent design sensibility and understanding of typography
– Energetic, passionate and keen to learn independently
– Strong communication skills
– At least 1 to 2 years of professional web design experience
– Additional skills and experience in using common CMS packages and designing for PHP-based and/or Ruby-based websites is a plus.
