Wavemaker taps ESG to help build 12 climate tech firms
Enterprise Singapore (ESG), the country’s government agency focused on business development, has announced a partnership with Wavemaker Impact to help the climate tech venture builder run programs and build over 12 climate tech companies in the next three years.
Under the partnership, ESG will be supporting Wavemaker Impact as a Startup SG Accelerator partner.

Launched by Wavemaker Partners last month, Wavemaker Impact aims to raise US$25 million to build companies that will reduce 10% of global emissions by 2035. The founding members include executives from Engie Factory, PropertyGuru, and NuTonomy, who join Wavemaker Partners managing partner Paul Santos.
Wavemaker Impact said that it has identified at least 50 opportunity areas for companies who want to reach US$100 million in revenue and abate 100 million metric tons of carbon at scale. Those areas include land use and carbon sinks, food and agriculture, industrial processes, and energy.
Prior to working with Wavemaker, ESG also announced a partnership with VC firm 500 Global in May for 500 Ignition Singapore, a 12-week virtual program to help emerging entrepreneurs in the city-state.
