Singapore payments platform Fave buys food-ordering apps CutQ, FoodTime

Fave, a Singapore-based payments platform, said it has acquihired food-ordering apps CutQ and FoodTime for an undisclosed amount to expand its footprint and market share in the city-state and Malaysia.

CutQ and FoodTime’s leadership team will join Fave, according to a media statement.

Fave Singapore managing director Ng Aik-Phong

Established in 2013, CutQ lets users skip lines and have their meals ready for pickup. Malaysia-based FoodTime is an online delivery app founded by Ahmad Daleen in 2017.

In a bid to reduce service times at restaurants, table ordering and takeaway pre-ordering features were added to its app, Fave said. The payments company also plans to expand by securing partnerships and adding new services.
