Sri Lanka-based healthtech firm ODoc nets $1m in pre-series A round
Sri Lanka-based healthtech firm ODoc announced it has raised US$1 million in its latest round of funding. The company also claimed that its valuation has doubled since its previous funding round, though it refused to disclose a specific figure.

- Funds raised from the financing round will be used to expand operations and develop ODoc’s customer experience across the healthcare and insurance verticals in the region.
- ODoc claims it has increased its revenue by 5x in 2020 while maintaining healthy unit economics.
- Currently, the healthtech firm has a network of over 1,000 partner doctors, covering 200,000 people and over 65 corporate offices across Sri Lanka, India, the Maldives, and Cambodia.
