Vertex Ventures eyes raising $400m in new SEA, India fund
“Venture capital firm Vertex Ventures, which is backed by Singapore state investor Temasek, expects to raise at least US$400 million next year for a new fund focusing on Southeast Asia and India,” Reuters reported, citing a senior executive.
Details:
- Vertex aims to kickstart the process of raising its fifth fund for Southeast Asia and India by the second quarter of 2022. The new fund is likely to be bigger than Vertex’s previous one, which pulled in US$305 million.
- The VC firm is looking to invest with its fifth fund in 2023, after wrapping up its fourth fund by the end of 2022.
