In the war between werewolves and vampires, can there ever be a winner?
Perhaps, if you’re playing Vamps Revenge.
This browser game developed by Indonesia’s Mojiken Studio is on preview at Casual Connect Asia 2014, just days before its official launch with sponsor Gamemazing. In Vamps Revenge, you are one irate vampire who wants to destroy the moon, so as to permanently rid himself of his lycanthropic enemies.
(See: Casual Connect Asia 2014: Run Run Super V is looking fun fun super nice!)
You start by launching yourself from a cauldron. This is phase one of the game, where you soar upward at top speed, picking up coins along the way. At the end of this run, you enter a portal and find yourself in the sky, where you must click on approaching enemies in order to punch the living daylights (moonlights?) out of them.
After this, the game segues into a third phase, where you must bounce off bats to reach another portal to the sky before your energy runs out.
Vamps Revenge is heavily inspired by Doodle Jump and beat-em-ups, and is a mix-up of both. Yet in spite of its two wildly-different genres, the end result is a cute and rather entertaining little time-waster you should check out. We’ll update with the game’s link when it launches.
