In the wake of the iPhone 5 launch, Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) has published an updated list of international availability for iOS 6 features, including new maps and navigation functions, as well as new Siri capabilities. Interestingly, China is the only Asian region to get ‘traffic’ maps, which uses real-time traffic conditions to figure out your ETA. Oddly, China does not get turn-by-turn navigation. The new 3D buildings feature is still only in the US.
Greater China regions (excluding Macau), Japan, and South Korea will also get the Siri Sports feature, which will be a big plus for sports fans on the go. Twitter and Facebook integration for Siri is limited to mostly those regions as well, with the exception of China where those networks are blocked.
Siri Local search and restaurant info remains limited to select areas, mostly in North American, Europe, and Australia. [Via The Verge]
