SG-based Web3 ad platform secures funding for ‘ultra-precise’ ad targeting

Linkko, a Singapore-based Web3 advertising platform, has secured a strategic investment led by Web3 Media (W3M) Ventures. The funding amount was undisclosed.

Founded in 2023, Linkko uses on-chain analytics to offer “ultra-precise” targeting to advertisers. The targeted users can claim rewards for every advertisement watched, ranging from a few cents to several US dollars per ad, it said in a statement.

The company explained that the targeting is done through public blockchain analytics. It focuses on factors such as transaction type and volume, assets owned including NFTs, and net worth, resulting in “hyper-targeted behavioral profiles valuable to advertisers.”

Linkko believes this model is suitable for both Web3 and Web2 advertisers.

“This investment validates the potential of Linkko while accelerating our vision of creating a fair and rewarding advertising platform that benefits users and advertisers alike,” said Maxime Berger, co-founder and CEO of Linkko.

The firm said that it will use the fresh funds to develop features, expand partnerships, and increase its user base.
