Alpha JWC, January Capital back $3.5m round of Vietnamese SaaS firm
True Platform, a Vietnam-based SaaS startup, has raised US$3.5 million in a seed round led by January Capital, with participation from Alpha JWC Ventures, Beenext, and FPT Corporation – the country’s largest technology group.

Founded in 2021, True Platform plans to launch two main products later this year: work collaboration platform Rework and sales platform Success.
The firm was established by Hung Pham, who is also the founder of SaaS startup Base.vn, which was acquired by FPT Corporation for an undisclosed sum last year. Alpha JWC Ventures and Beenext also backed Pham’s previous startup.
In a statement, Pham explained that he shared the foundation of his new startup with just a few VCs that he knew for a long time. “We got an initial commitment of more than US$5 million in one month of talking. But US$3.5 million is well enough at this stage of the company,” he added.
True Platform plans to use the new funding for product development purposes.
