Based in the US, Forge provides marketplace infrastructure for private company share selling. It also offers trading insights and solutions as well as securities-related services.
TGV earlier invested in SharesPost, a firm that Forge acquired in 2020. It then joined Forge’s US$150 million round in 2021 with Deutsche Börse, Temasek, Wells Fargo Strategic Capital, and LUN Partners Group.
Forge said that it saw a 71% growth for 2021 with US$3.2 billion in trading volume.
