Many business leaders in Indonesia don’t seem to value diversity in the workplace.
According to a report by Accenture, only 34% of survey respondents said that diversity was a top priority for their companies. Other aspects that took precedence were financial performance, brand recognition, and quality.
The reason? For 42% of respondents, diversity was not important while 40% cited difficulties in equating diversity to business performance.

Tokopedia is an Indonesian tech company that runs the country’s leading online marketplace. Its mission is to democratize and empower commerce through technology for everyone, everywhere.
