In brief: TNB Aura launches new $22.7m fund for Southeast Asia
Singapore-based TNB Aura has announced the final close of its inaugural Southeast Asia venture capital fund, TNB Aura Fund 1. The US$22.7 million fund was oversubscribed and is backed by institutional investors as well as regional corporations, family offices, and several ultra-high-net-worth individuals.
TNB Aura is also the co-investment partner of government agency Enterprise Singapore under the “Advanced Manufacturing & Engineering” scheme. The fund primarily invests in data-driven hardware-as-a-service and software-as-a-service companies with established traction, proven teams, and at the inflection point of accelerated expansion.
Some of its current portfolio companies include TradeGecko, a global inventory and order management platform for small-medium enterprises; Ematic Solutions, a digital cross-channel marketing optimization platform; and an undisclosed investment in an online-to-offline consumer electronics distributor in Vietnam.
