Mobile app analytics firm Adjust to invest in Southeast Asia after $227m round
Berlin-based software-as-a-service firm Adjust is expanding into Southeast Asia, with a focus on Singapore, Indonesia, and Vietnam, following a US$227 million funding round that it announced in June.
Morgan Stanley Alternative Investment Partners, Belgian holding company Sofina, French private equity fund Eurazeo Growth, and existing backer Highland Europe were the investors in the round.

The company plans to double its team and build a strong presence in the region over the coming year, April Tayson, Adjust sales director for Southeast Asia, said.
Founded in 2012, Adjust provides analytics, measurement, fraud prevention, and cybersecurity solutions for mobile apps. According to the firm, more than 28,000 apps have implemented its solutions, and it claims to be working with companies such as Traveloka, Tencent Games, Rakuten, Line, and NBCUniversal, among other organizations.
In addition to anchoring its expansion plans, Adjust also looks to use the fresh investment to further develop its product suite.
“This latest round of funding will be instrumental as we continue to unify brands’ marketing efforts, making marketing simpler, smarter, and more secure,” said Adjust CEO and co-founder Christian Henschel.
Currently, the company employs over 400 employees in 15 offices globally. It claims to have grown its headcount by over 100 employees during the past 12 months alone.
Just this year, Adjust acquired US data aggregation platform Acquired.io and Israel-based AI cybersecurity firm Unbotify. It has also formed a strategic partnership with Japanese marketing agency Adways, acquiring its attribution tool, PartyTrack.
Adjust then launched Unbotify, which uses AI and machine learning to detect in-app bot fraud, from its acquisitions.
