In brief: AStar unit raises $62m for venture co-creation initiative

Accelerate, the commercialization arm of Singapore’s Agency for Science, Technology and Research (AStar), will enter into new agreements with investors including Startup-O, Hafnium Hafaway, Marvelstone, Trendlines, and Dymon Asia Ventures. The partnerships will bring the total commitment of Accelerate’s venture co-creation initiative to US$62 million.

The initiative aims to commercialize technologies in areas such as AI, internet of things, and specialty chemicals.
