The program will accept applications until August 16, 2019. To qualify for TR Ignite, startups must have funding for the next six months at a minimum and have a demo-ready or very near-working prototype.

Thomson Reuters will invite successful applicants to pitch at the upcoming TechLaw.Fest, which will be held in Singapore from September 5 to 6. The company, in partnership with the Singapore Academy of Law (SAL), will also offer qualifying startups a place on Global Legal Innovation and Digital Entrepreneurship, a three-month virtual accelerator launched by SAL’s Future Law Innovation Program.

Startups that join the pitch day have a chance to secure up to US$250,000 in potential investment and work with Thomson Reuters via its virtual incubator program.

This collaboration will give participants access to Thomson Reuters’ global customer footprint as well as technology, data, and mentorship opportunities. Startups can also tap into partner organizations’ resources, including up to a US$100,000 worth of Amazon Web Services credit.
