Save Your Friends' Facebook Photos With Fotobook

Between dedicated photo-sharing site, Flickr and social network, Facebook, it is the latter that sees more photos being uploaded everyday: a good 5 billion photos are uploaded on Facebook every month, while Flickr has in total upward of 5 billion photos. No doubt, users love photos on Facebook – both uploading and flipping through them. Development lab, Anideo – funded by the Singapore-based co-founder of Facebook, Eduardo Saverin – has released Fotobook, an iPhone app (iTunes) that allows you to view and save your friends’ Facebook photos.

Anideo launched Fotobook with support for Facebook photos but Instagram and Flickr support is “coming soon”. iPad support and the ability to print photos are also in the works.

“Just photos, nothing else. No Farmville. No clutter, no fuss.”

Anideo is helmed by four individuals: AJ Solimine, Andy Croll, Arun Thampi and Kent Nguyen.
