The Mineski Pro-Gaming League kicks off Season 6 with no Class S teams

Once again, Dota 2 players from all over the Philippines are invited to be part of one of the biggest Dota 2 tournaments in Southeast Asia as the Mineski Pro-Gaming League (MPGL) enters its sixth season this month. And that’s not all to be happy about. A recent post on Mineski’s official website also announced that there will be no Class S teams for this leg, meaning teams in this season will not have to face off against the top eight from the last.

Participating teams in the MPGL Dota 2 competition – better known as Class A teams – will be required to head to select Mineski Infinity branches for their matches.

The top two teams from each branch will receive cash prizes of PhP 1,000 and PhP 500 for the champion and first runner up respectively. They will also move on to the championship play-offs, where they will compete for more cash, and a higher tier Class-S slot. The prize distribution for the Class-A finals is as follows:

1st place – PhP 5,000
2nd place – PhP 3,000
3rd place – PhP 2,000
