Finbots, a Singapore-based startup focused on smart credit scoring, has announced three new senior leadership changes: Aditya Gupta as chief product officer, Andre Marques as chief revenue officer, and Pranesh Kumar as country head of India.

As chief product officer, Gupta will drive the company’s global product strategy and commercialization, as well as oversee strategic partnerships with a focus on AI, product-as-a-service, and ecosystem development. Gupta brings with him over 20 years of banking experience, having held several managerial positions at leading banks such as OCBC and Standard Chartered Bank.

Meanwhile, Finbots’ new chief revenue officer Marques will spearhead the startup’s business development and sales across key markets. Prior to his new role, he spent over 15 years helping financial institutions drive their business expansions. Most notably, he was head of regional sales at Provenir and Experian.

Lastly, Pranesh Kumar will manage the company’s overall operations in India. He will also be tasked with leading and scaling the engineering team. Pranesh has more than 18 years of experience working across the US and India for global financial giants like JP Morgan and UBS. He is also the founder of Vesp Investment Analytics, an investment risk management platform.

Founded in 2017 by Sanjay Uppal and Shripad Keni, Finbots provides an AI-powered credit modeling SaaS solution that helps banks and financial institutions process loan applications more efficiently.

With the new hires and a US$3 million series A round it raised in April, the startup plans to strengthen its push for growth across focus markets in Asia Pacific, South Asia, the Middle East, and Africa.
