The Deception IV teaser trailer is trap-tastic!

It has been nine years since Tecmo released Trapt, the last game in the Deception series, so Deception IV: Blood Ties has a lot of work to do if itโ€™s going to interest old fans and attract new ones. Deception IV will be launched in March this year of Playstation Vita and PlayStation 3 and if the latest teaser trailer is anything to go by itโ€™s going to be a very strange game indeed.

The Deception series revolves around the player attempting to maim and eventually murder enemies through a series of cunningly placed traps, which range from iron maiden seriousness to pumpkin-on-the-head slapstick.

We play as the daughter of the devil, a young lady with miss-matched eyes called Laegrinna who has two goals, take over the human race and raise the devil. Obviously this is no easy feat so we have the help of three creepy/sexy demons to help Laegrinna on her way.

Each of these demons specialises in their own form of death-dealing such as painful, humiliating, and complicated.

Overall my interest is piqued and I certainly fancy carving up some unwitting heroes. Sounds very cathartic.
