Called the Web3 Alliance, the program will act as an extension of the Zilliqa team, with members of the network sourcing ideas and opportunities across various channels. When a recommendation leads to an investment, the advisor will be compensated in ZIL, the platform’s native token.
In addition to investments, the Web3 Alliance will also give the community access to industry experts. In turn, the program will help expand Zilliqa’s reach and visibility across different spaces such as metaverse, GameFi, and NFTs.
The blockchain protocol is now accepting applications for Web3 Alliance advisors.
Founded in 2017, Zilliqa provides blockchain solutions for enterprises and decentralized applications. The company said it has processed more than 30 million transactions since launching its main network.

In late 2021, the company named ex-Brave executive Ben Livshits to serve as its CEO. With the hire, Zilliqa looks to fuel its international expansion strategy, which includes growing its footprint within the global crypto space.
