Singapore’s Sim Lim square goes online after owners put property up for sale

Singapore retail complex Sim Lim Square said it has launched an ecommerce platform for tenants after its owners put the property up for sale in March.

Located in central Singapore, Sim Lim Square began operations in 1987 as a dedicated shopping zone for electrical and electronics goods.

It houses 492 commercial units on six floors and two basement levels.

More than 80% of the property owners agreed to launch a collective en bloc sale for S$1.25 billion (about US$915 million), according to The Straits Times.

The gadget hub has partnered with a local digital agency for its website, which will be live from Monday.
