With so many talks and ideas spread, there is a small possibility that TED might run out of smart people. That could happen if the number of talks conducted outweighs the number of smart people produced and identified. It is hard to imagine but The Joy of Tech has illustrated a hilarious comic of what could have happened.
A poll was also conducted to seek readers’ views. 1 out of 4 responded that that will never happen because the smart people will figure out a way to solve the problem. 16 percent feel that ‘TED could get people who think they are smart to talk’.
