The much anticipated Apple Watch will finally be available in Singapore, South Korea, and Taiwan on June 26, the device maker announced. The smartwatch will be purchasable from Apple’s website, official Apple stores, and selected authorized Apple resellers.
These three countries join China, Hong Kong, and Japan as the Asian countries to carry the Apple Watch.
Upon launch, Malmaison by The Hour Glass in Singapore and BoonTheShop Cheongdam in Seoul will carry selected versions of the gadget.
The first version of Apple’s smartwatch has gotten mixed reviews, as expected. CNet calls it more a “fashionable toy than a necessary tool,” The Verge praised its form but not its performance, while the Wall Street Journal deemed it a device for pioneers but not the masses.
