2024 has been an extremely exciting year for Tech in Asia. Apart from staging many bespoke events, we held our first-ever conferences in Saigon and Kuala Lumpur, talked about the cutting-edge AI sector at SYNC, and hosted another round of Regional Founders Meetups.
While this isn’t our first time hosting a conference Jakarta, it was our first time doing it together with The Business Times, helping us give the event even more oomph. Ultimately, we were able to gather a total of 114 speakers, 28 sponsors, and 112 exhibitors at Tech in Asia Jakarta Conference 2024, a clear showcase of just how much the Southeast Asia startup landscape has grown in breadth and depth.
Additionally, almost 3,000 people registered to attend the event, and we were so excited and grateful to have met every single one.
This year’s theme was “Jakarta: The Heart of Southeast Asia’s Tech Future,” and it reflected how the city – and by extension, Indonesia – has become a focal point for the region’s tech ambitions, with a thriving ecosystem and plenty of major stakeholders.
With so many things going on, we’ve compiled an infographic showcasing everything that went down at the conference. Check out the breakdown here:
