Tata Elxsi Picks Big V Telecom As First Startup in New INCUB@TE Program

Tata Elxsi and Big V Telecom

Tata Elxsi, India’s leading design company and part of the $100 billion Tata Group, has signed Big V Telecom for its recently announced incubation center program INCUB@TE.

Big V Telecom is the first startup to be selected and signed by Tata Elxsi. It’s not clear what funding is involved.

Big V is an emerging enterprise tech startup that offers customized telephony solutions such as YOCC (Your Own Call Center), toll-free numbers, bulk voice calls, conference calls, audio profiles, toll-free websites, and other franchise concepts for businesses and consumers across verticals. It’s operating in India and is looking to scale its presence across the country and other global markets.

Keshor Daga, a well-recognized entrepreneur and recipient of the Udyog Ratan Award and India Business Leadership Award, is the founder and director of Big V Telecom.

Nurturing for scaling

Madhukar Dev, MD and CEO of Tata Elxsi, said in the incubator’s announcement:

Incub@TE helps startups create sustainable businesses that can scale by providing them with the required infrastructure, mentoring, and market visibility. Tata Elxsi welcomes Big V into our incubation program.

Tata Elxsi and Singapore-based Get2Volume (G2V) partnered up earlier this year to promote and incubate technology startups and technopreneurs in India and Singapore. In fact, Tata Elxsi’s INCUB@TE program is also available to Get2Volume portfolio companies that get funding through Singapore’s National Research Foundation (NRF) and want to expand their business and presence in India.

Like Tata’s program, several companies are running incubator schemes in India, including the Aegis Center of Enterpreneurship, Pepsi’s Pepsico10, Microsoft’s Accelerator, Amazon Web Services’ The Lean Cloud, and many others are available to startups and aspiring entrepreneurs.
