Setting up a business is difficult, but also exciting and fascinating.

To stick to a certain professional level and stand out, you need to think carefully about your startup’s logo. Many reckon that this is not of the utmost importance. Of course, you should focus on the improvement of product or service quality. Although your logo does not influence the business success directly, and you can easily even go without one, an unprofessional one can put your image at stake.

There are several ways to create your logo

Option 1.

You can hire a designer. However, designers usually charge a fee, which is not always advantageous for a startup.

Option 2.

You can choose a logo on a competitive basis. Nowadays, there are platforms such as Zilliondesigns, where registered designers can create a logo for you on a competitive basis. You need to describe your ideas and requirements for your logo. You then have to choose the one you like and pay for it. Prices on such sites usually start from $200, and it takes at least one week.

Option 3.

Draw a logo on your own. Everyone has his or her own handwriting, and so can add some originality to the logo. Unfortunately, not everyone can just sit and draw a logo nor express their ideas through drawings. In addition, a hand-drawn logo must still be digitized, that is, transferred to a graphic editor, for example, Photoshop. This whole process can take considerable effort.

Option 4.

Create a logo using an online generator. Besides the traditional approach to design, there are new approaches, because innovations and new trends also influence the processes in design. Using online generators, you are directly taking part in the creation of logos, and the process doesn’t take a lot of time (usually around 15 minutes). These services provide both free and chargeable logos. Prices are affordable – in the range of $10 – $60 for a decent logo.

Let’s have a look at some of them:
