I’m Razmig Hovaghimian, founder and CEO of Ripple.co (+ exec chair of viki.com, & Rakuten board observer). We’re a city-focused news platform, with stories created by a community of contributors at the neighborhood level, and curated through local partners across the world. At the product level, our vision is to give you the pulse of any city, down to your location coordinates, wherever you consume content.

Key to building a great company:

There is no formula. My experience, from building to investing, has been to start with a focus on a real problem, looking for counter-intuitive data signals, building a great team around an organically cultivated culture, and executing the hell out of one thing before scaling.
