    More do less talk!

I probably start out any chatter on any new system with some controversy.

Of course I am not advocating for not having fun or combining your work with your playtime but as I age, have children and all that – I find that I like to separate my play and my work time so that I get more out of both sides of the coin. Work is work. Play might be pushing my daughter on the swing for example.

All that being said I like this post from super-angel Jason :: http://calacanis.com/2015/04/17/do-the-work-skip-the-party/

I won’t quote it. Just read it.

My point is I think with all the frenzy, even in Singapore, it is very easy for startup folks, wanna be startup folks and the doers to get caught up in all the eventing. It’s great – I love me a good event as much as anyone but I also find that I can skip the event. Get more work done or some more play in and life actually still goes on. You will find you may not have missed anything.

I used to recall in the early days people always being at an event and asking where Razmig was. One time I met up with Razmig and I actually commented how I never see him at events. He laughed – he retorted that he was too busy working and when not working was at home with his kids.

It’s perfectly okay to have that answer.

It is what I say more often than not these days.

    Be a doer.
