Doing mobile game in Indonesia? Consider these payment channels

Google Checkout is never enough for Indonesia. Credit card penetration is super-low here and Google Checkout telco’s direct carrier billing is a hassle to setup for users. So for mobile game developers, what should you do to maximize your revenue input? I’ve personally compiled a list of payment channel you should consider as an alternative to Google Checkout. Note: List is sorted by effectiveness.

1. Mimopay. Telkomsel, XL, ATM BCA, ATM Bersama, Sevelin (7-11), etc.
2. Codapay. Indosat, ATM BCA, ATM Bersama, Alfamart, etc.
3. Indomog. MOGPlay and MOGCAZ prepaid card is available in Alfamart, 7-11, internet cafe, and online.
4. Unipin. Available thru Indomaret and online.
5. Game-On. Game-On prepaid card is available in internet cafe.
6. MOL
7. Ayopay
8. GudangVoucher
