Hi TIA Community!

I’m Jack Sim Founder of World Toilet Organization (WTO) and BoP HUB. Mostly also known as Mr Toilet.

Here are some interesting facts about myself:

• After founding 16 commercial profitable businesses, I retired at age 40 to devote full time on solving social problems.
• Toilets were a taboo, which I converted into a global media darling by adding humor to serious facts.
• In 2013, WTO’s founding day 19 November was adopted unanimously by all 193 countries of the UN General Assembly to become the UN World Toilet Day.
• In 2011, President Clinton launched my new initiative BOP HUB to end global poverty through the marketplace.
• I have an honorary title of Tuifalevao a village chieftain title bestowed by Prime Minister of Samoa. I received this 2 years ago during an invitation to Samoa from the PM. The village name Falevao means toilet. That’s why I’m Chief of Toilets there. They even print 19 Nov World Toilet Day stamps there.

I’m now building a 65,000 Sq ft BoP Design Center at Ubi MRT to be completed by July 2017. This will become the de facto World Trade Center for the Poor. We want to bring the 4 billion poor into our global economy and help them become entrepreneurs and jobs creators.

All works are done at very audacious scale even though we are a small organization without many resources.
