In late March this year, Rocket Internet launched Vaniday in Brazil. It’s a beauty and wellness services marketplace, you can find and book things like massage studios, hairdressers, or personal trainers. Just three months in, UK, Italy, France and the United Arab Emirates have followed.
The original Vaniday in Brazil was founded by Frenchman Maxime Legardez. He’s apparently been with other Rocket Internet ventures like Foodpanda, and also spent two years in Southeast Asia to build an eye wear ecommerce site.
Given Rocket’s usually rapid expansion, it’s probably not going to be long before Vaniday comes to this part of the world. Or what are your thoughts? Does anyone have any insights on this?
