Hi TiA community!

My name is Chok Leang Ooi, and I’m the CEO of AgilityIO, a consulting firm that has roughly 160 developers and designers working across three cities: New York, Vietnam, and Singapore. To date, we’ve helped more than 80 startups (such as NerdWallet, MoneySmart, and The Luxe Nomad) take their products to the next level, and are looking to grow this number to 120 by next year.

I’m currently based in New York, but was born in Malaysia. I was previously an employee at several top investment banks, as well as Silicon Valley startup Loopt. I am also a mentor at 500 Startups.

My day-to-day job involves business development calls and meetings with potential leads in the U.S. and Asia, client management on existing projects, and product management work for some of our clients. Ask me anything on the following topics:
