The Wii may have come to the end of its life cycle, but the Wii U is still at its start!
Of course, it’s not doing as well as Nintendo expected…but perhaps they might change that with the new Super Mario Brothers Wii U deluxe set.
The industry giant announced this morning a new Wii U deluxe set that will replace the existing Wii U Deluxe Set, which comes bundled with Nintendo Land. The Mario and Luigi one will have New Super Mario Bros. U and New Super Luigi U on one disc. The announcement just hit the US, so don’t go running to your local game store just yet.
Another available Wii U Deluxe bundle is the Legend of Zelda one. It comes with a download code for The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD, a Legend of Zelda limited edition GamePad controller, and a digital download of the Hyrule Historia. It retails for S$529 ($427.50) in Singapore.
You can check with your local retailers for more details. While limited edition or deluxe sets are typically announced only for specific regions, game stores in Asia usually make a special order from overseas to get them for customers.
