Businesses using Stripe in Singapore can now accept PayNow as a payment method, the Business Times reported.
Stripe, the global payments service provider, will also allow users outside Singapore to accept PayNow if they set up a Stripe account in the city-state.
Jobs firm JobStreet and online furniture retail firm HipVan are among the first businesses in Singapore to accept PayNow via Stripe.
The integration brings various benefits to merchants. For instance, they can now allow customers to pay for subscriptions using PayNow, which was not earlier available for recurring payments, the report added.
Before PayNow integration, Stripe added support for several other payment methods, including GrabPay and AliPay.
