Starting July this year, Singapore-based Saison Capital will directly connect founders and operators from its company portfolio with engineering, product, public policy, recruiting, and sales leaders at Stripe.
The initiative will include group learning sessions and one-on-one meetings and will explore topics like market expansion planning, product roadmap development, as well as talent strategy around recruitment and retention.
The insights program is the first project to be born out of the Saison Capital and Stripe partnership, but the two companies are aiming to develop more initiatives such as Web3 learning seminars and networking opportunities, according to a statement.
Saison Capital, the venture arm of Japanese financial services company Credit Saison, has a diverse portfolio across Asia. It has invested in startups such as Indonesian marketplace Ula, Philippine-based B2B platform GrowSari, and Singapore cybersecurity firm Cyber Sierra.
Founded in 2010 by Irish brothers Patrick and John Collison, Stripe is one of the leading payment services platforms in the world, with its latest valuation reaching US$95 billion. Tech giants such as Amazon, AliExpress, and Apple are a few of the firm’s many famed partners.
