Inflexor Ventures leads $5m series A round of Indian logistics firm

Inflexor Ventures, an Indian tech-focused fund, announced that it had led the series A round of Kale Logistics Solution, a provider of software-as-a-service (SaaS) products. The startup’s existing investors also joined the fundraise.

This marks Inflexor’s fourth investment from its Fund II since November 2020, following up on its capital injections into Steradian Semiconductors, PlayShifu, and VitraAI.

Kale Logistics’ product suite includes its digitization platform and collaboration enabler, Next Gen Cargo Community Platforms. The company said its SaaS solutions cater to a wide network of logistics service providers, helping bolster their operational and business capabilities.

It plans to use the new capital to enhance its product and bankroll its global business growth efforts, which involves deploying its solution at additional overseas airports, ports, and enterprise cargo handling customers.

“We believe Kale Logistics will play a pivotal role in radically transforming global cross-border commerce at airports and ports led by trade facilitation reforms initiated by the United Nations and various countries,” said Inflexor Ventures partner Pratip Mazumdar.

Inflexor Ventures’ investment comes after it launched a deep-tech fellowship program to invest in early-stage startups from its US$100 million fund. It also brought in fellow Indian venture firm 100X.VC to further strengthen the initiative.
