AI cloud software firm raises $4.2m seed money from Nexus Venture, Battery Ventures
Neuron7.ai, a cloud-focused software company, has emerged from stealth mode to announce that it has raised seed funding amounting to US$4.2 million from Nexus Venture Partners and Battery Ventures.
Neuron7.ai aims to provide cloud-based AI-driven customer service solutions to companies managing complex products in the areas of technology, manufacturing, and healthcare. The startup added that it had successfully tested its solutions with a number of Fortune 1000 companies while in stealth mode.

Qualcomm chief financial officer Akash Palkhiwala, Neudesic Global Services CEO Ashish Agarwal, Amazon Podcasts general manager Kintan Brahmbhatt, and Five9 executive vice president Anand Chandrasekaran were some of Neuron7.ai’s early backers.
Neuron7.ai, which is headquartered in the US and has an office in India, plans to use the new funds to expand its engineering, product, and sales teams. By next year, the company also aims to expand its Bengaluru team, which is made up of data scientists, data engineers, and natural language programming and AI experts, from five members to 20.
Neuron7.ai also wants to bring on board India-based firms in the business process outsourcing and information technology spaces.
