Accel and Strive, which participated in the company’s US$4.5 million fundraise in October last year, also joined the new round.
Founded in 2020 by former Facebook and Disney Hotstar executives Kshitij Gupta, Aniket Behera, and Sarvesh Dwivedi, 100ms provides technology infrastructure that makes it easier for companies to add Zoom-style video conferencing on their platforms.
The startup has onboarded customers such as WhiteHat Jr. and Paytm Insider. It also recorded a 20x growth in product usage in the last quarter.
The global market for live video and audio infrastructure is projected to grow from US$4.2 billion in 2019 to US$17.7 billion in 2024, according to an IDC report.
