The top 10 hottest PC games in China (September 2014)

As the autumn kicks off, it seemed like a good time to check in again on what Chinese gamers are talking about and playing, according to 17173’s weekly game rankings. As you can see for yourself below, the results are no surprise: League of Legends holds the number one spot, as it has for the past year or so, and the other two in the top three haven’t moved either. But there are a few changes:

The biggest changes this time around? World of Warcraft has been making a charge towards the top of the charts, having jumped a few positions since May. Jianxia Qingyuan 3 has fallen out of the top 10 entirely, and Hearthstone has taken its place.

It’s also interesting to note that Guild Wars 2 has the same spot it did back in May when the game was first released; obviously it has been doing a good job of keeping players’ attention! Dota 2, meanwhile, doesn’t seem to have enjoyed much of a boost from China’s TI4 success, as it continues to linger outside the top 10.
