The app will aggregate curated content, ecommerce, logistics, and financial services in African and Asian markets, coordinated by local operational partners.

Kiwi Pay and Meal Temple have also relocated to Singapore to partner with local businesses, central banks, and financial institutions with an aim to aid the economy and provide frontier markets with access to online services and international remittance offerings.

“KiwiPay and Meal Temple had very similar DNAs. Combined, we play with better control of the value chain, new roads to market, and optimized defensibilities,” said Maxime Rosburger, CEO of Meal Temple Group. “Both teams have provided pharaonic efforts to ensure a successful merger rhythmed by quarantines, lockdowns, and other challenges caused by the pandemic.”

KiwiGo has struck agreements and licenses with central banks and financial institutions in over 20 countries in Africa and Asia, including Cambodia, Myanmar, the Republic of Congo, Kenya, Ivory Coast, Madagascar, Senegal, and Ghana.
