What is China censoring on the web? (INFOGRAPHIC)

China has been putting on a big show of its internet dreams all week at the World Internet Conference, but everybody knows the reality is often a pretty different from the outward image China projects. Case in point: attendees at the conference got access to totally uncensored internet. But for everybody else in the country, it’s business as usual.

So what does that mean? China censors an awful lot on the internet, in a lot of different ways. Here’s a not-so-exhaustive look at what China’s censoring on the web:
