Bret Terrill is a pioneer in the social games industry. Most recently, he was the Senior Director of Corporate Development at Zynga, the largest and most popular social game network in the world. Previously, he co-founded Tenuki, one of the earliest social games companies. Bret also writes passionately about the social games industry on his personal blog .
Daniel Raffel is a Senior Product Manager at Yahoo, working on Y! OS. As a Product Manager at Yahoo, he helped create and launch Pipes, a web based composition tool to aggregate, manipulate and mash up content from around the web. Also during his tenure at Yahoo, Daniel contributed to launching Yahoo Messenger’s VoIP efforts. Previously, he was the Director of Product Management at Pioneers of the Inevitable, working on Songbird, an open-source, customizable music player. Daniel has also worked in a variety of technology roles at ABC News Online, bthere.tv, CondeNet, and NYU’s Innovation Center lab.
Noah Kagan is a creative entrepreneur with experience in marketing, strategy and product management. His main interest is making things happen. His studies and personal interest are in user experiences, planning and creating new websites and figuring out how to reach the right audience. He is currently the founder of Gambit which does virtual currency monetization.
Jouko Ahvenainen is an investor and entrepreneur across the US, Europe and Asia and is active at a senior level with many web and mobile enterprises. Jouko is passionate about the challenges in finding and supporting the next great venture. He believes that 2.0 will significantly change all business, and finance cannot avoid that change. Now is the time to create new open models to accelerate early phase company funding.
Starting his first software company at the age of 16, Jouko then held progressively senior positions at diverse technology firms including Cap Gemini Ernst & Young, Powerwave Technologies Inc., Nokia, and Sonera. He is a pioneer in the field of social media marketing, and played a significant role in developing the first social marketing intelligence solutions for mobile and media companies. Jouko is on the boards of various start-up companies and is a co-founder or seed investor at six companies, including Replicon and Xtract.
