Affable, a Singapore-based marketing tech platform, has partnered with Google Cloud to launch Skye, an AI companion specifically designed for influencer marketing.
The tool, which Affable said to be the world’s first of its kind, helps marketers with tasks such as generating personalized influencer collaboration emails and reviewing content uploaded by influencers to maintain brand consistency.
The company serves more than 5,000 marketers and agencies worldwide, supporting them in finding suitable influencers, establishing collaborations, managing campaigns, and monitoring reports.
By harnessing the capabilities of Google Cloud’s Vertex AI, Affable hopes to significantly reduce the time required for searches and enable interactive explorations, said Sherie Ng, Google Cloud’s country director for Singapore.
Affable’s expansion efforts come as influencer marketing grew over 1.5x to US$16.4 billion from 2020 through last year, according to the Influencer Marketing Benchmark Report. About 63% of brands are also looking to integrate AI into their influencer campaign operations, the same report found.
In 2021, Affable raised US$2 million in a seed round led by Prime Venture Partners as the platform geared up for international expansion. In May this year, the company also inked a strategic partnership with Lumanu, a creator commerce and payouts firm that allows marketers to maximize earnings by handling taxes and vendor setups.
