Paragon Ventures I is a sector-agnostic fund that targets startups specializing in deep tech, business-to-business solutions, software as a service, and robotics.
The fund is a part of PCMS’s larger strategy to broaden its product offerings. The new fund will focus on investing in companies with experienced founder-entrepreneurs and innovators with strong management and leadership capabilities.
Founded in 2017, PCMS offers portfolio management services to accredited investors to help them grow their assets and meet investment goals.
“We have identified value creation opportunities in the venture capital space, particularly in the pre-seed funding rounds,” said Paul Lee, co-founder, CEO, and chief investment officer at PCMS. “We look forward to leveraging our resources, expertise, and connections to support entrepreneurs, and help them realize their full potential in due course.”

Seed and early-stage investments have accounted for 32% of the total US$125 billion plowed into global venture investments in the first quarter of 2021 alone. Moreover, the number of Southeast Asian startups that go public is anticipated to triple to more than 300 by 2030 from under 100 currently.
