Founded in May 2021, Mojocare offers products and services that focus on sexual health, mental wellness, and hair loss. It also allows users to consult with doctors online and look for health coaches, therapists, and nutritionists.
The company was established by Ashwin Swaminathan, who was an investment professional at Chiratae Ventures, and Rajat Gupta, a former executive at Mobile Premier League and chat app Line. In October 2020, Mojocare raised US$3.08 million in seed funding from Chiratae Ventures and Surge, among others.
According to a statement, the firm said that it focuses on lifestyle-related disorders, which are generally difficult to address via a single consultation. “In India, 400 million people are battling issues related to dermatological, mental healt, fertility, and sexual wellness,” Gupta pointed out.
Mojocare plans to use the fresh funding to step up hiring, boost product development, and scale sales through more channels.
