Shopee may expand into India as it rolls out campaign to recruit merchants
“Singapore-headquartered Sea Ltd’s Shopee has launched a recruitment campaign for sellers to sell on what it called ‘Shopee India’ and is ramping up hiring in the country,” Reuters reported, citing YouTube videos and LinkedIn postings on the matter.

- A video posted in early August shows a message saying, “Shopee is coming to India!” It mentioned free shipping and no commission fees for sellers and buyers.
- Tech in Asia has reached out to Sea Group, but the company hasn’t replied.
