In brief: Tencent shares jump as China approves two of its mobile games
Tencent saw its shares jump more than 3 percent as it got the green light for its mobile games – the first for the company since a freeze on approvals was imposed last March.
Chinese regulators approved a fourth batch of 95 games, two of which were from Tencent.
The absence of Tencent games from the first three batches unnerved investors. The company’s shares had lost roughly 20 percent of their market value since the freeze.
