Founded by former Uber and Grab executive Amrt Sagar and former ComfortDelGro general manager Andrew Chan, Carzuno allow users to rent a car and drive it themselves on a monthly to yearly basis. Renters can change their vehicles at the end of each subscription period.

The company said that it saw a triple-digit month-on-month user growth since the platform was launched in June.

To provide the service, Carzuno teamed up with car rental firms such as Avis and Sixt, along with local car owners and leasing companies. Carzuno plans to use the fresh funds to expand its team, onboard more electric vehicles on the platform, and acquire more consumers and partners.
