Delos, an Indonesia-based tech startup focused on aquaculture, has raised US$8 million in an extension of its seed round led by Centauri Fund and Alpha JWC Ventures.

Delos main offering is a shrimp farm management system called AquaHero that can increase farmers’ productivity and overall yields.
Since catching initial seed funding in October last year, the company said it has grown annual gross merchandise value and pond area under management by 7x, with client output doubling in the same period. It has onboarded almost 100 hectares of shrimp farms, with more than 600 hectares of farms that has yet to be processed in its pipeline.
Delos was established last year by Guntur Mallarangeng, Bobby Indra Gunawan, Alexander Farthing, and Aristya Noerhadi.
It plans to use the fresh funding to scale its AquaHero product and build two more services: supply chain integration through AquaLink and a lending platform called AquaBank.
